A perfect Hamilton (NZ) winters morning

It was -3 degrees this morning in our backyard! I wrapped the dog up in a (highly embarrassing) homemade poncho, rugged myself up in my puffer jacket and gloves and set off around the block. It was, as expected, freezing. But it was also beautiful – not a cloud in the sky, or a puff of wind, just frost fighting the sunshine for its place on the scenic landscape.
