Mangaiti Gully

The most beautiful and unique aspect of the Hamilton region its gullies, networks of mystical and magical walkways that sit just below street level. Today Ziggy the Cavoodle and I popped into Mangaiti Gully which is just off the main road towards Rototuna, and quickly became absorbed in the magic environment around us. Full of moss, waterways, native plants and birds it was like stepping out of the real world and walking to an Enid Blyton novel.

Some photos from our journey today, not that you can capture the true experience of being there in person.
